Transformation Soulution™: An Integration of EMDR + IFS
This workshop seeks to provide participants with the theoretical framework and practical skills to safely and effectively integrate bi-lateral stimulation with the Transformation Soulution™ approach for deeper and more efficient therapeutic processing. Through the training, participants will learn about and practice practical skills for use with clients to help break trauma patterns at the biological and intergenerational levels, release unprocessed emotions and physical sensations, and integrate exiled parts, to achieve radical, rapid change. In addition to practical skills, the Transformation Soulution approach will also leave participants with 2 key experiences:
- Deepen the Client's Internal Connection: Equip therapists to help themselves and their clients access their innate "Self" energy—the core of wisdom, compassion, and clarity. By using bilateral stimulation to safely "unburden" exiled parts, the training will enable clients to build a stronger connection with their own inner resources, leading to lasting healing that isn't dependent on the therapist.
- Reduce Therapist Burnout and Vicarious Trauma: By empowering clients to take greater ownership of their healing process, this approach reduces the burden on the therapist. When clients are actively engaged in processing and releasing their own trauma patterns, therapists can shift from a role of "fixer" to "guide." This not only promotes client autonomy and integrity but also mitigates the emotional exhaustion and vicarious trauma often associated with deep trauma work.
Learning Objectives
- Identify and demonstrate the key components of the EMDR AIP and IFS models and apply them directly to their practice.
- Demonstrate proficiency of the Transformation Solution™ method through hands-on, live dyadic practice.
- Describe the neurobiology of trauma, list its impact on Self, and use the Transformation Soulution™ method and bilateral stimulation to deepen their own internal connection to Self
