Mobile Crisis Intervention Stabilization Program: Supervisors
Training Description:
This 2-hour training provides an overview of Mobile Crisis Intervention Stabilization Program (MCISP) for supervisors to implement this expansion of mobile crisis intervention programs in their crisis teams. The Mobile Crisis Stabilization Program is a structured, short-term service offered through the BHN Mobile Crisis Intervention Team. It is designed for individuals who do not require an immediate crisis assessment but do need intensive, mobile, clinical support and stabilization within their community.
This program follows a goal-oriented model, offering in-person or virtual interventions provided by a Crisis Follow-Up Clinician over 3 days for adults (21+) and up to 7 days for youth and young adults (ages 20 and under). MCISP intervention focuses on Intake & Goal Setting on the first day; Next Day Follow-Up in-person or virtual stabilization sessions based on client needs between intake visit and last day; and Final Day Intervention Wrap-Up to review progress and determine if more support or higher level of care is needed.
