ASAM Guided Treatment and 42 CFR Part 2: Confidentiality

Training Description:

This 1.5 hour training provides healthcare and behavioral health professionals with a foundational understanding of the ASAM Criteria and its application in substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment. Participants will explore the six dimensions and levels of care, along with federal confidentiality regulations (42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA) that guide ethical and compliant care coordination. The session includes case-based learning and practical strategies to support person-centered assessment, consent processes, and documentation within ASAM-informed practice.
