Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) - Spring 2026
Partner program announcement.
These no-cost TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) Advanced Trainings are intended for all CBHC, CMHC, CBHI & BHHL-affiliated therapists possessing a master's or doctoral degree in a mental health profession who provide therapy to children impacted by trauma and who have previously completed TF-CBT training or are currently enrolled in a TF-CBT Learning Community.
Advanced Training provided by Nationally Accredited TF-CBT Trainers: Jessica Griffin, PsyD, Jessica Wozniak, PsyD, Deidre Hussey, PsyD, & International Trainer, Zlatina Kostova, PhD.
Three Spring Sessions
- TF-CBT and Trauma-Informed Leadership for Supervisors is a half-day training designed to strengthen supervisory leadership in trauma-informed clinical practice. This training offers supervisors an in-depth understanding of their role in monitoring TF-CBT treatment fidelity, supporting flexible and creative use of the model, and helping clinicians navigate common barriers to treatment.
- TF-CBT for Young Children integrates best practices with play-based methods and caregiver involvement to enhance engagement, regulation and trauma processing within developmentally responsive treatment.
- TF-CBT with Traumatic Grief offers practical guidance for incorporating grief-specific elements and applying the PRACTICE components strategically to support mourning, meaning-making, and adaptive functioning.
CE Credits: Free CE credits provided to Psychologists, Social Workers, and LMHCs.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) - War & Migration Impacted Youth

This no-cost TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) Advanced Training is intended for all CBHC, CMHC, CBHI & BHHL-affiliated therapists possessing a master's or doctoral degree in a mental health profession who provide therapy to children impacted by trauma and who have previously completed TF-CBT Basic Training or are currently enrolled in a TF-CBT Learning Community.
This specialized training is designed to support clinicians who are working with children and adolescents impacted by war, including refugees, immigrants, and unaccompanied minors. Participants will learn practical strategies for utilizing TF-CBT to address the unique needs of children and families affected by war, including preand post-migration trauma, re-establishing a sense of safety, and incorporating culturally responsive considerations.
